The Phantoms held their last regular practice at the Civic Center for at least a week as they prepared for a game Wednesday night against Syracuse at home and then a long road trip that sends them to Norfolk for a pair of games and to Hamilton next Tuesday.

If you have yet to see it, the Phantoms produced an epic video for 80s night. I Tweeted the link Monday and it's gotten several thousand hits. It even made national news on Yahoo's PuckDaddy blog, which was kind enough to give us credit for the find. Really, watch it, you won't regret it. Great marketing move by the Phantoms as the video of Jason Akeson, Kevin Marshall, Luke Pither and Tye McGinn dancing to "We Built This City" has officially gone viral.

A few notes:

-- The Flyers made official the call-ups of Brayden Schenn and Kevin Marshall reported on Monday.

-- The Carolina Hurricanes claimed forward Andreas Nodl off waivers. There was a chance he could have been assigned to the Phantoms had he cleared.

-- The Trenton Titans have loaned the Phantoms defenseman Andy Thomas. He practiced with the Phantoms on Tuesday. Thomas, a college teammate of Flyers defenseman Matt Carle and former Phantom J.P. Testwuide at the University of Denver, played 28 games with Albany last season. He had two points and was minus-5 in 18 games with Trenton. Thomas will wear No. 43.

-- Attention Philly readers: the Phantoms will practice at the SkateZone in Voorhees, N.J. on Thursday morning as they take a pit stop while traveling from Glens Falls to Norfolk. The team is likely to hit the ice about 11:30, though that will depend on travel conditions.

-- Johan Backlund will not make the trip with the team to Virginia this weekend. Phantoms coach said Backlund came out of his season debut on Thanksgiving a little sore, but that was not unexpected. He'll remain in Philadelphia with Andrew Rowe and Brandon Manning, who have yet to be cleared to play, for some extra work. Those three will join the Phantoms in Glens Falls next week.

With all the call-ups, maybe it's a good time to reset the Phantoms' roster as it stands:

Forwards (14): Akeson, Brown, Hamel, Harper, Holmstrom, Kalinski, Klotz, McGinn, Pither, Roe, Rowe, Sestito, Testwuide, Wellwood.

Defenseman (8): Bartulis, Eddy, Jancevski, Lauridsen, Kessel, Manning, Thomas, Walker

Goalies (3): Bacashihua, Backlund, Leighton.

With the injuries to Eric Wellwood and Rowe, that leaves 12 healthy forwards.

With Manning yet to be cleared, there are seven healthy defensemen.

Here's how the lines looked Tuesday:

Hamel/Holmstrom/Testwuide; Sestito/Rowe*/Harper; McGinn/Roe/Akeson; Klotz/Pither/Brown.

*Rowe skated in place of Jon Kalinski, who had a scheduled day off.
