The Phantoms are finally in Glens Falls.

They held their first practice this morning, a double-session that looked a little sloppy to start. Terry Murray had to stop the first portion of practice several times and called it "nearly a disaster."

The second session, however, looked better. It looked like the two days off and everything that comes with moving from the hotel at training camp to long-term housing in the Glens Falls area may have had the team dragging at first.

The lines at practice were as follows, in no particular order:

Sean Couturier, Brayden Schenn, Matt Ford

Eric Wellwood, Rob Bordson, Harry Zolnierczyk

ZacĀ Rinaldo, Tyler Brown, Andrew Johnston

Tye McGinn, Garrett Roe, Ben Holstrom

Matt Mangene, Mike Testwuide, Shane Harper

Practices will continue at 10:30 on Wednesday and at 10:00 Thursday and Friday. All practices are open to the public and some, like today, will be double-sessions with a brief intermission to re-make the ice.

If these lines are accurate, no wonder practice was "nearly a disaster". Working from the new Phantoms roster, only 1 line with a center and 2 wings (Wellwood's line). 2 lines with 2 centers (Schenn/Couturier, Roe/Holmstom) and 2 lines with no centers (wings playing center)! With 4 days to opening night, it's the wrong time to convert wings to center and vice-versa.

I hope Murray shuffles the lines today, this is crazy.
