Last week’s #wordfamewednesday was about someone I have known and worked with for me than five years. This week’s is someone I met less than a month ago. But sometimes, it’s pretty apparent that someone is special and is really having an impact on the community.
I met Maria Bosford of Queensbury Jan. 21 at the Glens Falls Women’s March and have spoken to her several times since. She’s been very active in a number of the marches and events over the last several weeks, including the travel ban protest at Albany airport and other similar events. I also discovered she’s a Special Olympics coach and has taken part in the Lake George Polar Plunge as well. She’s another one of those folks who makes a difference in the community.
