Republican state Senate candidate Kathy Marchione received a campaign cash infusion of $90,000 on Monday, including $80,000 from the Senate Republican Campaign Committee.

The contributions were reported in 24-hour notice reports to the state Board of Elections.

The campaign is in the period when contributions of $1,000 or more must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

Other contributions were as follows:

$5,000 from Joseph and Giuseppina Kakaty; $2,500 from Kubricky Construction, and $2,500 from New Yorkers for Growth.

Marchione, the county clerk in Saratoga County, is running against Democrat Robin Andrews in the new 43rd Senate District.
