Well the Washington County Fair didn't break an attendance record this year, but the weather certainly cooperated. 

Several people I talked to said Sunday was the busiest day of the week. I had to agree after witnessing the full parking lot when leaving for the night.

The big draws of the day which included the demolition derby and monster trucks did not disappoint in the motor sports arena.

The monster trucks were a sight to be had and heard. These amazing machines left the full grandstands cheering after the car crushing demonstration Sunday afternoon.

Even not in motion they attracted a number of onlookers who squeezed underneath the frame to peer inside through the plexiglass into the driver's seat. 

The Ramunation and Raminator were used as the back drop for photo after photo for each fair guest coming through the white gate.

One woman felt compelled to squeeze inside the wheel of one of the monster trucks. Some assistance was needed to pull herself out once the photo op was complete.
