While Post-Star reporters were kept at a distance, "Entertainment Weekly" had the goods on the "Escape at Dannemora" movie set.

The entertainment magazine/website published an exclusive on Tuesday speaking with director Ben Stiller and Patricia Arquette, who stars as prison worker Joyce Mitchell.

Benicio del Toro, starring as Richard Matt, and Paul Dano ,as David Sweat, were not quoted in the article, but photos from the set were featured.

Del Toro shared the story on his Twitter account on Tuesday:

Del Toro also tweeted out a Poststar.com story about filming underway in Chester.

Filming wrapped at Natural Stone Bridge and Caves in Chester and took over downtown Chestertown recently.

In the article written by Joe McGovern, Stiller comments on the economy of upstate New York.

“You see how challenging it is up there just to make a living,” Stiller said. “And this story takes place in the same time, literally the same week, as when Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president. A lot of these factors are what this story is about. It’s very current.”

The article states, filming will continue through March and the eight-part Showtime mini-series is expected to hit TV in 2018.
