IV EDTA chelation Therapy for reduction in the risk of a second heart attack Criteria: Subjects 50 years and older with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, who have had a heart attack.^* ✓ Early Stage Alzheimer’s Disease: Criteria: Subjects with early-stage Alzheimer’s, 55-79 years old.* ✓ Donate your brain for Alzheimer’s Research. Patients can participate in helping to develop a new Alzheimer’s brain imaging type of PET scan. You do NOT have to have Alzheimer’s Disease to participate.* *Subjects will receive compensation for their participation. ^In the TACT 1 Trial, published in 2013, IV EDTA Chelation therapy was administered to over 1700 patients and was shown to have a statistically significant benefit over placebo at reducing the risk of a second heart attack. Interestingly, patients with Diabetes Mellitus had a 40-50% reduction in the risk of a second heart attack.
